Bonjour! Je m’appelle Madame Holzberger. I am excited to be part of the Bedminster Township School community as the 6th - 8th grade French teacher. Learning a new language is an adventure. I look forward to the start of this one with our students.
I am certified to teach French, ESL and Elementary Education and I have taught at all 3 levels (elementary, middle, and high school) during my career. In addition to English and French, I speak German and understand intermediate level Spanish (my attempt at speaking it usually elicits giggles though). I love meeting people from all over the world. I have been lucky to have lived in France, Germany, and most recently 4 years in England. Yes, I did get to see the Queen. (Meghan was not in the picture then.)
A bit about my family: I have 2 children - a son studying engineering at Bucknell (‘Ray Bucknell - my husband and I both attended too) and a daughter in high school. We share our home with 2 mischievous cats named Percy and Simon. I enjoy working in the garden, cooking (but not thinking of what to cook for dinner), reading, watching the birds, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with my family (especially cribbage and euchre), and going on long walks.
